Alhassan Toure’s interest in fashion began at the early age of ten.While it may seem like a young age to some ,Toure was born in Ghana to a Malian father who was a master tailor , a talent that runs in the blood for the designer obsessed with cut and mixed materials in his immaculately-made apparel.
Heavily inspired by his father and motivated by HIP-HOP culture Toure saw a bigger opportunity in America and had aspirations of making it in the fashion industry there. Upon moving to the United States, he was closer than ever to that opportunity and set out with the goal of designing for some of his idols. Toure began his career in America as a tailor working in Harlem on 125th street but it wasn’t until he meet Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan that the course of his career would change forever. His unique creations impressed Raekwon and subsequently created more introductions and opportunities for Toure to design for many other celebrities. Toure and Raekwon developed a great bond and a lasting friendship, that still stands today.
Since then Toure has established himself as the go to designed for many celebrities and has seen his designs on a plethora of artists and musicians in the industry. Toure has designed for celebrities such as Tony Robbins, Diddy, LL Cool J, Chris Brown, Swizz Beats, Jason Derulo, Snoop Dogg, and Busta Rhymes to name a few. He has seen his creations on the likes of Trey Songz, Wiz Khalifa, Wiz Kid, Demetria McKenney, Michael Blackson, Ghostface Killa, Terrence J and many others. In addition, Toure’s designs have traveled cross the country reaching some of the biggest overseas celebrities in Africa and European . Superstars such as , Wizkid, Davido, Seyi Shay, Shatta Wale, Patoranking on a list that continues to grow.
